Try it at home for up to 100 nights, and if it’s not quite right, you can exchange it once for a different style or comfort level. Please see below for more information.

Local Customers (Middle TN & Northern AL)

Who qualifies: Customers in Middle Tennessee and Northern Alabama who purchase directly from our store or receive HSD local delivery.

Policy Overview:
We want you to love your new mattress. That’s why we offer a 100-Day Sleep Trial to make sure it’s the right fit for you.

How it works:

  • Try your new mattress at home for up to 100 nights.
  • If you’re not completely satisfied, you can exchange it once for a different comfort level or style.
  • Exchanges must take place between 30 and 100 days from your delivery date to allow for a proper adjustment period.
  • A $99 exchange fee applies to cover inspection, repackaging and redelivery.
  • We’ll remove the original mattress and deliver your new one at the same time.
  • No refunds are offered as part of the trial—this is an exchange-only policy. Any difference in cost will be paid by the customer if moving up in price. If moving down in price the difference will be issued as a store credit.
  • Box springs, adjustable bases, pillows, and accessories are not eligible.

Conditions:

  • Mattress must be free of stains, damage, or excessive wear.
  • The purchase of an HSD Mattress Protector is required.
  • The mattress must have been used on a suitable, supportive base.
  • One comfort exchange per mattress purchase.

National Shipping Customers (Outside of Middle TN & Northern AL)

Who qualifies: Customers who purchase a mattress online for shipment outside of our local delivery zone.

How it works:

  • Enjoy your mattress for up to 100 nights from the delivery date.
  • If you’re not satisfied, you may request a one-time exchange for a different model or firmness level.
  • Exchange requests must be made between 30 and 100 days after delivery.
  • Customers are responsible for:
  • The return shipping of the original mattress (or donation confirmation if eligible)
  • Inbound shipping for the replacement mattress
  • A $99 processing fee
  • We’ll help coordinate return logistics where possible and provide instructions for donation, pickup, or return.

Conditions:

  • Mattress must be in clean, undamaged condition.
  • A suitable foundation must have been used.
  • No refunds are given under this trial—exchange only.
  • One exchange per household.
  • Adjustable bases, pillows, and accessories are final sale and not eligible for exchange.
